Though Maria Sauceda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria Sauceda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Sauceda and Conception Sauceda; her siblings, Rebecca Rubio, Emilia Gomez and Juan Sauceda; and her daughter Mary Lou Garza.
She is survived by: her sons, George Cruz, John Cruz (Yvonne) and Thomas Cruz (family: Lupe Joyer, Monica Huffman); and her siblings, Conception Sauceda (Adelina), Richard Sauceda (Letty), Rachel Mendez and Sylvia Mascorro (Jimmy). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
