He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Travis Burdette and Walterene Burdette (Newby); his children, Larry Burdette (Norma), Gary Burdette (Danielle Greenwood), Michael Burdette and Chrystal Dowell (Phillip Butz); his stepdaughters, Tonya Reed, Laurie Trevino and Wendy Thomas; and his siblings, Rick McElroy, Eddie Brand, Terry Brand, Cindy Birmingham, Beth Smith, Beverly Hunsuckle and Willete Reed. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
