He is survived by: his spouse Lavera Calder; his children, Melanie Spikes of Stephenville and Wade Kilgore (Heather) of Howe; his grandchildren, Blake and Keigan Kilgore of Howe; his nephews, Mason Spikes (Felicia) of Lake Leon and James Smith (Rachel) of Stephenville; his great-niece Addison Spikes of Lake Leon; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Spikes of Lake Leon and Lazelle Calder.
