He was predeceased by: his parents, John Amos Bailey and Elnora Ruth Cork Bailey; his wife Joy Ann Gristy; and his brothers, Doyle Randall Bailey, John A. Bailey and Quinton Darrell Bailey, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra (Chuck Arpe) of Stephenville, Brenda (Mike Bailey) of Ft. Worth, Linda (Dwayland Bates) of Lampasas and Barbara (Pat Gresham) of Belton; and his grandchildren, Will (Sarah Arpe), Jacklyn (Kevin Elmer), Laurie Bailey, Tonya (Cameron McElyea), Ken (Julie Bailey), Crystal White, Brandon Bates, Stephen (Shanda Bates), Drew (Kayla Gresham) and Shea (Caitlin Gresham). He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Erath County Cowboy Church, or to the Erath County Humane Society.
