She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Young and Irma Griffin Ammons; her siblings, Bobbie Brunson of Brenda Wulf and Mike Ammons; her son Jeffrey Glenn Sowders; her husband Thomas "Glenn" Sowders; and her son-in-law Mike Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Tate, Monica Gage (Tim) and Gary Sowders (Vicky); her grandchildren, Laura Brooks, Rebecca Dominguez, Daniel Jones (Ashley), Gena Lovel (Shane), Chasen Sowders (Scout) and Maci Sowders; her great grandchildren, Jaren Brooks, Regan Brooks, Chad Reynolds, Logan Hilderbrand, Neva Lovel and Kaleb Osborne; and her sister Carolyn Smith (Rodger). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
