He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hoelter and Evelyn Hoelter (Tappel); his brother Larry Hoelter; and his great grandchild Mackenzie Bishop. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Lawrence Hoelter (Sandy) of Shiner, Julia Dawn Bishop (Billy Jack) of Weatherford, Jill Michelle Hoelter of Weatherford and Jason Avery Hoelter of Weatherford, Texas; his grandchildren, Dustin Davis, Jordyn Barr, Brad Bishop and Brian Bishop; his great grandchildren, Madyson, Brillee, Renee, Charlise and Jaiden; and his brothers, Jim Hoelter of Illinois, Gene Hoelter (Diane) of Wisconsin and Dean Hoelter (Judy) of Texas.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel (1380 N Harbin Dr, Stephenville, TX 76401).
