He is survived by: his wife Nora; his children, Traci Everett (Paul), Dr. John Alfred Carter, Jr. (June) and Neely Carter (Sabrina); and his sisters, Wanda Walker (Jerry) and Wilma Walker (J. D.). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many cherished friends.
