It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Israel Jr. (Stephenville, Texas), born in Blum, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Israel and Ruth Tally Israel; his sister Tammy Sue Wilson; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Imogene Messina.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Linda Messina; his wife Linda; his daughters, Cyndie Sanders (Rick), Debbie Sulkowski (Chuck) and Stacey Joelle Rangel (Jose); his grandchildren, Tim, Heather, Lindsey, Micah, Melanie, Johnathon, Matthew and MaKayla; and his siblings, Carl Israel, Brenda Whites, Kathi Thompson and Lanny Israel. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
The Israel family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 in Stephenville.
