He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Ray Shinn, Sr.; and his son Jarod Shinn. He is survived by: his mother Verna Dean Hale Shinn of Stephenville; his children, Krystal (Bubba Daniel) of Dublin, Derek (Ana Cooper) of Austin and Shelby (Tyler Latham) of Stephenville; his cousin Rick; his grandchildren, Marshall Daniel, Ava Daniel, Sebastian Cooper and Kendall Cooper; his sisters, Deborah (Jim Buck) of Stephenville and Kaye (Scott Smith) of Stephenville; and his pet Ringo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The Shinn family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Green's Creek Baptist Church, Harbin Volunteer Fire Department, or the National Kidney Foundation.
