He is survived by: his former wife Myrna Clydene Leftwich; his brother Robert Louis Merrill of Livingston, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Merrill of Milton, LA and Phyllis Elaine Merrill of Saratoga, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
