He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd C. King and Mary Henderson King; his siblings, Bobby King, Carolyn King and Kathie Meador; and his sons, Gary and Kevin King.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sargent (Hatcher); and his children, Lucretia Carter, Eddie (Shelly), Brian (Kim), Michael (Stacy), James (Toni) and Randy (Billie). He is also survived by several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home (120 W South Loop, Stephenville, TX 76401). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the West End Cemetery.
