He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smotherman Lamb; his daughters, Tina Gordon (Dave), Kathy Cox (Joe) and Lisa Simpson (Lynn); his grandchildren, Audrey Wells, Terri Cox, Travis Cox, Curtis Cox, Garrett Simpson (Sonya), Fisher Simpson (Nia) and Franco Weaver; and his great grandchildren, Reilly Bolden, Timothy Coleman and Sophia Simpson.
