She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Roy and Dora Beatrice Monroe Dempsey; her son David Edward Manley; and her brother Gerald Leroy Dempsey. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Allen; her daughter Leigh Ann (Danny Bennett) of Fort Worth; her granddaughters, Meghan Dainelle Bennett of Fort Worth and Emily Nicole Bennett of Michigan; her sister-in-law Anita Dempsey of Abilene; and her niece Paula (Lloyd Boyle) of Abilene.
