She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas B. Whitis Jr.; and her children, Thomas B. Whitis III (Tommy) of Stephenville and Barbara Whitis Sloan of Hurst. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
