He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Melford Powell, Sr. and Mildred Powell (Lowry); and his brother Ronnie Powell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Powell (Roddy); his children, Vickey (Ronald Warren), Tammie (Brian Firkins), Cindy (Louie Terrazas) and James Powell of Benbrook, TX; and his sister MarthaJo Powell of Fort Worth, TX.. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
