He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jones and Ina Allen Jones; his grandmother Lovie Allen; and his mother-in-law Maggie Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jones of Stanton; his children, Paula Jones of Lubbock, Cody Jones (DeDe) of Amarillo and Stephanie Asher (Scott) of Hope Springs; his grandson Brandon Jones; and his brother John Calvin Jones (Patsy) of Stanton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
