He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardis Wilson and Lee Hagelstein; and his brother Robert Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hagelstein; and his children, Michael Lee Hagelstein Jr., Mishelle Wheeler and Lorra Johnson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church of Stanton, Texas.
