He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy C. Pierce and Elizabeth Robinson Pierce; his daughter Stella Pierce; and his siblings, Alene Pierce and Billy Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife LaRue Pierce (Angel); his children, Carla Ingram (Brad), Jackie Smith (Mike), Laura Graves (Craig) and Don Pierce; his grandchildren, Shana Archila (Abi), Dustin Charles Griffith (Adrienne), Pierce Roberts, Jessica Bryand (Sherman), John Michael Smith (Sarah), Michael Graves (Katarina), Michelle Graves, Gabrielle Kurt (Guillaume), Victoria O'Faolain (Macdára) and Kaitlin Pierce; his great grandchildren, Stella Joy, Gattlin Charles, Gage, Maddie, Parker, Eliott, Max, Noah and Nathan; and his siblings, Margaret Stovall, Edward Pierce (Mary Jane) and Lou Wanda Faubion (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbreath Funeral Home (209 St Charles St, Stanton, TX 79782). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery - Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, the Martin County Historical Museum, or a charity of your choice.
