It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Casey Eugene Shackelford of Stanton, Texas, born in Wills Point, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife June Shackelford; his siblings, John Rubin Shackelford, Mary Lee Shackelford Kling, Lois Ann Shackelford and Arlene Shackelford Matlock; his grandson Larry Wayne McCampbell; his son-in-law Daniel L. Lassiter; and his parents, Casey Claude Shackelford and Daisy Mae Hendon Shackelford.
He is survived by: his sister Rose Tucker of Corpus Christi; his stepchildren, Nina Lassister of Richardson, Iris (Mike Folger), Dennis (Pam McCampbell) and Lanetta (Paul Cooper); his grandchildren, Matt Lassiter, Jamie, Andrew Wondolowski, Kelsey, Jennifer Folger, Laura Alberts, Kendra, Jeff Coleman, Kari, Tim Hair, Kyle and Karen Cooper; his niece Janice; his nephew David Heath; and his close friends, Paul and Linda Carlson. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
