She is survived by: her children, Rayshell Onyekwelu of Houston, Sarah Dee Woods of Stamford, Edward Dale Gardner Jr. (Jacqueline) of Bossier City, LA and Tony Gardner of Grand Prairie; her grandchildren, Jamee Jones, C. C. Onyekwelu, Erica Gardner, Jennifer Lightell, Edward Gardner III, Jason Gardner, Amy Gardner, T. J. Gardner, Tony Gardner Jr., Desta Santos-Gardner and Zaylon Gardner; her great grandchildren, Amhrye Gardner, Angel Gardner, Emory Gardner and Gucci Gardner; and her sisters, Virginia, Baker, Glenda Standifer and Bertha Owens. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
