She is survived by: her mother Thelma Johnson of Stamford; her children, Erica Harris of Garland and Eric Whitaker of Stamford; her grandchildren, Jakain Whitaker of Stamford and Jasmine Whitaker of Stamford; her daughter Brandi Thornton of Stamford; her goddaughter Jocelyn Woodard; her siblings, Marilyn Griffin of Stamford, Vivian Bolden of Greenville, Sandra Sanders Johnson (Bobby) of Fort Worth, Shannon Worshman of Midland, Jo Nell Mayes of Abilene, Arlene Bell of Abilene, Diane Mayes of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, Vernon Jones of Abilene, Richard Johnson Jr. (Robbie) of Garland, Darrell Cook of Dallas and Kevin Johnson of Stamford; and her nephew Bobby Griffin. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
