It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Leon McLaren of Stamford, Texas, born in Madera, California, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Leon Gilmore and Lena Elnora Durst; his adoptive father Jerry Malott; and his grandparents, Cecil and Leona Durst.
He is survived by: his wife Jeaneen McLaren of Stamford; his children, Uriah McLaren (Odalee) of Stamford, Lydia McLaren of Colorado Springs, CO, Joshua McLaren (Anna) of Lincoln City, OR, Sara Northrop of Battle Creek, MI, Tabitha Fisher (John) of Battle Creek, MI and Andrew McLaren (Shannara) of Apran, SD; and his siblings, Kenneth Gilmore (Cheryl) of Colorado, Les Gilmer of Denver, CO., Anna Libby (Ned) of Center, CO, Peggy Biggs of Greeley, CO and Meg Temple of Santa Fe, NM.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
