He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Chester Hasty and Mary Katherine Hasty (Escue); his wife Carolyn Inez Hollowell; and his siblings, Jerry, Joe, Charles Hasty and Mary Katherine Peters.
He is survived by: his daughter Marty Herron of Stamford; his grandchildren, Patricia Hasty of Abilene, Mary Hasty of Abilene and Colt Herron of Wolfe City; his great grandchildren, Beau Claire Herron of Wolfe City and Cannon James Herron of Wolfe City; and his siblings, Roy Hasty of Center Point, Paula Meyers of Gage, OK, Roi Ann Henry of Greenville and Elaine Price of Eula, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
