He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Wallace and Irene Cooper; and his son Jesse Arms. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Sanders of Stamford; his children, Otis Cooper and Veronica Freeman of Stamford; his siblings, Marshal Harris of Houston, Classie Sims of Stamford, Arthur "Punch" Applin of Stamford and Lynette Harris of Stamford; his uncle Herman Cooper of Stamford; his aunt Mae Cooper of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Royal Freeman and Isiah Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
