He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Heitman and Hildegard Heitman; and his brothers, Kenneth Heitman, Arthur Heitman (Barbara) and Fairy.

He is survived by: his children, Keith Heitman (Jane) of Sugar Land, Kerry Heitman (Denise) of Edmond, OK and Karen Withrow (Paul) of Sugar Land; his grandchildren, Cody Heitman (Bri) of Stafford, Candace Heitman, Kelsie Krizek (Layne) of Wichita, KS, Katie Juarez (Christian) of Edmond, OK, Kellie Heitman of Edmond, OK, Jessica Hawkins (Nick) of Killeen, TX, Ben Withrow (Ashlyn) of Dallas, TX and Will Withrow (Catherine) of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Robin Heitman, Kinsley, Hudson, River Krizek and Nora Juarez; and also Richmond.
