Rosemary Chachere Rao Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Chachere Rao (Stafford, Texas), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Rosemary Chachere may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosemary Chachere touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her parents, Roland "Bobe" Chachere and Sadie Chachere; and her sisters, Vonceil Trahan, Norma Lee Dupre and Ramona Quirk.

She is survived by: her sister Wilda Dupre. She is also survived by dad.

A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Earthman Southwest Funeral Home (12555 S Kirkwood Rd, Stafford, TX 77477). Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Rosemary Rao be directed to St. Laurance Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land, Texas 77479.
