He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Saunders and Elsie Saunders (Wagoner); his siblings, Jean Saunders and Donald Saunders; and his daughter-in-law Janel Saunders (Brockel).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Saunders (Carnahan); and his sons, David Saunders (Sheryl) of Sugar Land, TX, Thomas Saunders (Sally) of Tucson, AZ and John Saunders of Pine Island, MN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
