The memory of Gloria Sommer Reuter of Stafford, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father John Ernest; her husband Wilburn William Reuter; her mother Ida Loewe Sommer (Loewe); and her siblings, J. E. Sommer, Dorothy Lehmann, Joyce Lehmann and LaVerne Kunkel.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Reuter (Debra) of Houston, Sandra Stockwell of Stafford and Terry Reuter (Karla) of Stafford; her brother Lyndon; her sister-in-law Betty Sommer of Tomball; her grandchildren, Candace (Blaze Acord), Jessica (Jose Kelley), Catherine (Earl Woodring III), Nikolas Reuter of Houston, Nikole Reuter of Houston, Ryan Stockwell of Stafford, Stephanie Scott of Florida and David (Anna Albright); and her great grandchildren, Hayes Acord, Earl Woodring IV, Henry Woodring, Matthew Rollins, Cannon Woodring, Kailyn Stockwell, Raylin Stockwell, Bentlee Stockwell, Blake Scott, Shaun Scott and Jensen Albright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church (211 Luther Ln, Carmine, TX 78932).
Memorials may be made to the Martin Luther Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in Carmine, or to the charity of one's choice.
