She was predeceased by: her parents, Andres Noemí Chavez and María Magdalena Chávez; and her brother Jaime Chavez. She is survived by: her husband Guadalupe Longoria; her children, Guadalupe Longoria IV and Maritza Longoria Reihms; her grandchildren, Emma Lynn Longoria, Guadalupe Longoria V and Leona Marie Schmutzler; and her brother José Guadalupe Chavez.
