He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Minshew and Amma Minshew; and his siblings, Hermit, Cecil, Joseph Minshew, Adel Terry, Rebe Glass, Billie Wooley and Merle "Sissy" Heron.
He is survived by: his children, Brazos Minshew (Vicki), Marvin Mahana (June), Wesley Joe Mahana (Carol), Cheryl Morrison (Carl), Amma Sanchez, Vickie Brant, Shelli Ryczek (Mark), Margie Johnson (Kenny) and Ruby Flake (Ron); and his brother Charles Luther Minshew (CL). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
