She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Leroy Hemphill, Jr. and Elizabeth Marie Browne Hemphill; and her sister Kathleen Ruth Hemphill. She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Anne Higgins Carter and Karen Annette Higgins; her son-in-law Marc; her grandchildren, Caroline, Michael and Matthew; her sisters, Patricia Pomaro (Louis) and Mary Jo Pearcy (Marc); and her friend Gilbert. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Earthman Southwest Funeral Home Esw Chapel (12555 S Kirkwood Rd, Stafford, TX 77477). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479). A reception was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anne's memory may be made to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or St. Laurence Social Concerns Ministry.
