With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amy Jones Whitton (Stafford, Texas), born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Benjamin Scott Jones; her uncle John A Thomason III; and her grandparents, Clyde C "Duke" Jones Jr., Lorraine Ammon Jones, John A Thomason Jr. and Doris Lawhon Thomason.

She is survived by: her parents, Michael Scott Jones and Doris Thomason Jones; her son William Benjamin Whitton; and her close friend Chad Slaydon.

The family requests that face masks be worn upon entering the funeral home.
