She was predeceased by: her parents, L. P. Hicks and Annie Strange Hicks; her husband Robert Mott; her sisters, Lyda Lee (W. E. "Pete" Hollis), Janice (Dub Daniels) and Glynell (Carl Redmon); and her granddaughter Stacy Mott.
She is survived by: her children, Aline (Dennis Whitmire), Kathy (Phillip Broom), Rusty (Judy Mott) and Marvin (Kathy Mott). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
She was a member of the Raggie Mae Quilters Guild where many a quilt was donated.
