He was predeceased by: his fathers, Fred Burks and Virgil Burks; and his wife Charlie Laverne "Charlotte" Burks. He is survived by: his son Kelvin Burks (Shelly) of Daisetta, Texas; and his grandsons, Zackary and Ethan Burks.
