It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Eugene Odom of Spurger, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazarus A. Odom and Mittie Marie Gibson Odom; and his sisters, Patricia Eloise Odom McCreight and Ida Louise Odom Caswell. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Odom; his children, Brian Chadwick Odom (Kim) of Spurger, Kristie Lynn O and Kimberly Kay Odom of Silsbee; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Noelle Willis-Odom of Lumberton, Kamryn Elizabeth Odom of Spurger, Randall Baker Marcum of Spurger, Sidney Lynn Marcum of Spurger and Reece Anthony Marcum of Spurger; and his siblings, James Henry Odom (Linda) of Fairview and Janice Marie Odom Thomas of Rayburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
