It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Raymond Lankford Jr. of Spurger, Texas, born in Mission, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Raymond Lankford Sr. and Nelda Lankford; his wife Brenda Lankford; his daughter Ladell Lankford; and his siblings, Robert, Joe Lankford, Kathy and Dorthy Rae.
He is survived by: his children, Minta Jean Lankford of Silsbee, George "Buddy" Raymond Lankford Ill of Spurger and Melody Roberts (Danny) of Pearland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
