He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Thomas Smith and Virgie May Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Smith; and his daughters, Donna Sue Smith, Sharol Denise Smith (Johnny Simpson) and Virgie Pauline Murray (Bill). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
