She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Ray and Minnie Alma Morrow; and her siblings, Melva Joyce, Mary Helen and Morris John.

She is survived by: her husband Alvis of Spur; her daughters, Kathy Grant (Fred) and Brenda Gibson; and her grandchildren, Joseph Grant, Michael Grant and Crystal Gibson. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
