She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Johnson and Mary Lee Johnson; her husband Rex Carlisle; and her siblings, Horace Johnson and Judy Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, David Hale (Kathy) of Tahoka, R. D. Hale (Susie) of Snyder, Texas., Mary Ann Merritt (Jerry) of Woodward, Reba Ooley (Richard) of Spearman, Brenda Randall (Jerry) of Lubbock, Sandra Cyr (Ron) of Mansfield, Shawnee Blancet of Wolfforth and Twila Key (Randal) of Spur, Texas.; and her stepdaughters, Rexine Burden (Roy) of Kilgore and Marian Roberson (Gene) of Spur, Texas.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and one nephew.
