She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Chilcoat and Martha Chilcoat (Barton); her former husband Joe Ben Qualls; her children, Cheryl, Terrell Joe (Terry), Mayre and Laurie Kay Qualls; her daughter-in-law Debbie Starcher of Lubbock; her sister Gaye Barkley of Napa Valley, California.; her husband J. W. Thomason; her son George Starcher; and her son-in-law Glen Brown. She was also cherished by 29 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
