He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Lee and Dorothy Redmon (Stanton); his siblings, Barbara Dobbs (Clifford), Charlene Nabors (Leon), Claudia Kirby and Charles Thomas Redmon; his brother-in-law Paul Reasoner; his wife Stella Thompson Redmon; and his sisters-in-law, Mabel Thompson (George), Yvonne Reasoner and Joy Redmon. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Trinity Baptist Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
