She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Rutherford and Ethel Francis Rutherford (Richardson); her former husband Loyd Powell; and her brother Benny Rutherford (Johnnie). She is survived by: her husband Ottis Milton Gothard; her close friend Bill Rider of Alvarado; and her children, Thomas Powell (Susie) of Springtown, Gregory Powell (Jill) of Bowie, Randy Powell (Becky) of Athens, Sonja Robertson of Colorado and Jana Collier. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
