He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Gowers. He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Arend Estes, Joseph Upchurch and Austin Cook; his mother Christine Thornton; his siblings, Ronnie Gowers, Terry Gowers, Dusty Gowers and Brenda Hall; and his sister-in-law Andi Gowers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
