He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ely Whitney and Maxine Helen Johnson; his daughter Rebecca (Ronnie Dean Roberts); and his siblings, Marlene Joy Hodges, Leroy Richard Whitney, Fred Robert Whitney, Robert Donald Whitney, Merle Laverne Whitney and Ronald Whitney.
He is survived by: his wife Andaleen Whitney of Springtown, TX; his granddaughter Christine Roberts-Catapano (Vincent Catapano); his great grandchild MacKenzie Catapano of Sacramento, CA; his grandsons, Joshua (Kristiann Roberts) of Tulare, CA and Michael (Trinity Roberts); his great grandchildren, Lillian, Jolene Filbert, Annalee and Juniper Roberts of Rocklin, CA; his sister Marlene Joan (Samuel Stripling) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his nephew Patrick (Cheryl Whitney) of Bedias, TX. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
