She was predeceased by: her father Oliver L. Bates; her husband Edward W. Stupic; her mother Mattie Lou Black Bates (Black); and her brothers, George Oliver Bates and Donald Gene Bates.
She is survived by: her niece Judy Ann Bates Schnelle (Jerry) of Springtown, Texas; her nephew Michael George Bates of Corpus Christi; and her close friends, Millie Stiles (PA), Pam, Art, Natalie and Chalesa Goforth (OH). She is also survived by 1 great niece, 3 great nephews, 7 great-great nieces and nephews, and many special nieces and nephews.
