We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Rita A Burk of Springtown, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Langston Irvin and Mabel Cecilia Schade Layne; her former husband James Burk; and her siblings, L. I. Layne, Jr., Donald Lee Layne, Charles Edward Layne and Joyce Eleanor Strowd.
She is survived by: her husband Engineering Degree; her children, Asa Burk (Alicia) and Cara Jolly (Darin); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Thompson (Adam) and Aaron Jolly (Alicia); her nephew Dan Layne (Glenda); and her nieces, Paula Martin (Joe) and Sharon Blichfeldt (Howard).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations in Annette's name be made to the First Baptist Church Music Ministry, 500 North Main Street, Springtown, Texas 76082.
