He is survived by: his wife Wilma Smith (Kennedy); his siblings, Calvin Smith (Ann) and Doris Vereen (Charlie); and his daughters, Kay Wilson (Kenny) and Melinda Black (Rodney). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
