Marvin Potter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Potter (Springtown, Texas), born in Decatur, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Potter (Dunn); and his siblings, Bryan Clay Houtchens, Dawn Marie Houtchens, Ronnie, James D. and Richard Lee Potter.

He is survived by: his father James L. Potter; his wife Carol Potter (Perkins); his children, Monty Houtchens, Sherri Henderson, Cheryl Bond (Tom) and Dana Houtchens; his siblings, Patsy Joy Hall and Randall Glenn Potter; his grandchildren, Shelbie, Jennifer, Ryan of Chloe, JR, Bella and Jude; and his great grandchildren, Adelynn, Willow, Soleil and Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made in Pete's name to Solaris Hospice.
