He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Leonard and Helen Leonard (Stewart); his wife Darlene Leonard (Robertson); and his siblings, Lucious Leonard, Linda Champagne and May (TT).

He is survived by: his children, Brian Leonard, Denise Wallis (David), Karen Leonard, Richard Leonard and Michelle Stults (Robert); his sister Judy; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Eric, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Logan, Cooper and Addison.
