She was predeceased by: her parents, Delber Jean (Goodwin) and Paul Smithheart; her brother Paul "Doug" Smithheart; her sister-in-law Barbara Smithheart-Brookshire; her brother Bobby Joe Smithheart; and her sister-in-law Mary "LuLu" Burrous.
She is survived by: her husband Nathan "Bucky" McDaniel of Springtown; her daughter Christy; her son-in-law Garrett Hilton of Springtown; her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Lori McDaniel of Springtown; her grandchildren, Nate McDaniel, Addy Hilton, Nash McDaniel and Hayes Hilton; her sister Natalie; and her siblings-in-law, David Fulmer of Fulshear, Sarah "Janie" Nunez, Rodney and Janice McDaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
